What to do in the first week:
- Collect your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) card

- Make an appointment for your National Insurance (NI) number*
- Ensure your CV is in the correct UK format*
- Register with Job Assistance and a variety of recruitment agencies
- Decide where you’d like to stay and find accommodation*
- Get an Oyster card*
- Acquaint yourself with the London Underground
- Phone your family with your calling card
- Set-up auto top up on your calling card
What to do in the first month:
- Register with the National Health Service (NHS)
- Do a London bus tour
- Register with 1st Contact Forex
- Register with your local dentist
- Speak to a 1st Contact Tax Refund consultant
