1. Vodafone London Fashion Week

 2. iTunes Music Festival

When: 1 to 30 September 2013

Music lovers are in for a treat at the iTunes Festival, taking place all month long at the Roundhouse. If you’ve missed the first week, don’t worry, there’s plenty more coming up. Acts include Kings of Leon, Jimmy Eat World, Robin Thicke, The Pixies, John Legend, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake and many, many more.

3. BBC Proms in the Park

Where: Hyde Park

When: Saturday 7 September 2013

Bryan Ferry heads this year’s Proms in the Park, with performances by Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blue, tenor Joseph Calleja and Dame Edna Everage.

4. Mayor’s Thames Festival

Where: Various venues

When: 6 to 15 September 2013

The Mayor’s Thames Festival is a massive 10-day festival of free events on an around the Thames, including a night-time river opera, a floating art fair, the Barge Race and the popular Great River Race on Saturday 7 September – to name just a few events.
