London goes green

If you’ve never attended the St Patrick’s Day Parade, give it a bash this year.

St. Patrick’s Day is fast approaching and there will be plenty to see and do in and around London on the day of the 17th of March, as well as, during that week. So dust off your leprechaun hat, paint the kids green, and prepare for a fun day out.

The St Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival

If you’ve never attended the St Patrick’s Day Parade, give it a bash this year – last year 100 000 people took part. The parade starts at 12 noon in Piccadilly, proceeding to Trafalgar Square – where you can enjoy the free St Patrick’s Day Festival until 6pm. Performers include; Yngve & The Innocent, Kayna featuring Damien O’Kane, and Crossharbour.

It’s a fun day out for the entire family with plenty to eat, see, and do –  including crafts, marching bands, colourful floats, street theatre, live Irish music and dance, a comedy tent, film tent, and Irish food market. There will also be a dedicated kids’ area, so feel free to take the youngsters along – they will not be bored.
