The annual Homelanz event is taking place on Saturday the 10th of August in London’s Boston Manor Park. Gates open at 11AM and live music commences at 11.45AM.
This popular one-day London festival is all about celebrating the Southern Hemisphere; its culture, entertainment, music and cuisine. Aussies, Kiwis and South Africans can reminisce about home. The rest of the world can enjoy an authentic Southern Hemisphere experience – all in a friendly, convenient, leafy corner of West London.
This year, 13 bands will play on two stages. The headliners are Tahuna Breaks from New Zealand, Blue King Brown from Australia, Desmond & The Tutus from South Africa and I Am Giant from the United Kingdom. Other acts include What Now, Bowie Jane and Munkinpure.
Concert-goers will also be able to sample the best in Southern Hemisphere food, beer and wine. Various UK restaurants known for their authentic Southern Hemisphere cuisine will be at the festival, including several that are owned and managed by internationally-renowned chefs.
Wine exhibitors will be showcasing the diversity of their regions, with a number of smaller producers as well as the big names.
There will be a village with information and support services for travellers, migrants and expats. Other extras will include a silent disco and a chill-out zone.
