HMRC’s online appointment booking system will be unavailable from 09:00 to 16:25 on Sunday 19th January 2014 while the tax authority carries out system maintenance.
The booking service is for UK-based applicants who need to book appointments for premium applications at the HMRC’s physical enquiry offices, and for people who need to supply the HMRC with biometric information.
For most of Sunday, applicants based in the UK won’t be able to book these appointments online. However, if you’re booking from another country, you’ll still be able to do this as you normally would.
HMRC has apologised for the inconvenience caused, but is reassuring users that their system will be back up and running at 16:25 on Sunday.
