The UK and Bahrain signed an agreement on Sunday that will waiver the need for diplomatic and special passport holders to carry visas.
The agreement was signed by British Ambassador Iain Lindsay and Bahrain Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Abdulla Abdullatif Abdulla , giving Bahraini citizens who hold diplomatic or special passports the right to travel to the UK without visas for up to six months. These visas can be used for tourism or official state visits.
British citizens, diplomatic passport holders, diplomatic couriers and envoys of the Queen have also been given the right to travel to Bahrain on official visits for up to six months.
