Avoid UK visa delays due to TB screening office closures this December

South Africans who are intending to submit their UK visa applications in December 2013 need to take note of TB screening offices’ closure.

The International Organisation for Migration (IOM) have notified us that their South African offices will be closed between 2 December 2013 and 2 January 2014.

All South Africans who are planning to travel to the UK for longer than 6 months (excluding those applying for holiday visas), need to undergo TB screening as part of their visa application process. If you were planning to submit your visa application towards the end of 2013, it is therefore vital that you get your TB screening done before the 2nd of December, to avoid any delays in your visa approval.
