Exploring London with our April Instagram takeover

by 1st Contact | Apr 07, 2016
  • In the latest of our Instagram takeover series, we spent the weekend in London with Candice Light, as she showed us around the city she now calls home.

Candice moved to London in 2012, to join her family and further her career. She currently lives in Barnes, in South West London, and works as a trainee solicitor (candidate attorney).

Commenting on her favourite aspect of living in London, Candice says: “I love the constant exposure to different people, cultures, places and experiences. It’s such a vibrant city – there’s always something new to do or explore.”

During her weekend with us, we saw breath-taking sunrises across the Serpentinestreet art in East London and an enviable Mad Hatter’s High Tea at the Sanderson Hotel, among other adventures.

While there’s never a shortage of things to do in the city, Candice makes a habit of getting outdoors, with park runs and cycling adventures part of her weekly routine.

When she’s not visiting local food markets and new restaurants with friends and family, Candice makes the most of London’s proximity to Europe, with as many trips and holidays as she can manage.

Be sure to follow our Instagram account for more first-hand accounts of life in London, Melbourne, Cape Town and beyond. Ready to start your own adventure? Our Kickstart team is ready to make your London dream a reality.
