priority to meeting the needs of both New Zealand and the skilled migrants intending

New Zealand Family Visas
You may apply to come to New Zealand to live if you are sponsored by a family member
or partner who is already a New Zealand citizen and/or resident. To qualify under
this category you must either be related to a New Zealand citizen or resident or
in a genuine and ongoing relationship with a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
Work to Residence Visa
The purpose of New Zealand’s work visa and permit policy is to contribute to the
development of the country’s industry and economy by attracting skilled migrants
through employer sponsorship, whether seasonal or long-term.
New Zealand Long Term Business Visa
The long term business visa is for people who intend to move to New Zealand and
establish a business or reinvigorate an existing business. A work permit is initially
granted for 9 months allowing the applicant time to establish their business. Before
the 9 months have expired an applicant can apply for a further work permit to take
their stay to 3 years.
New Zealand Entrepreneur Visa
To be eligible for residence in New Zealand under the entrepreneur category, you
need to have successfully established a business, be self-employed or working in
a business in New Zealand which is benefiting the country in some way. You may have
gained a long term business visa or have a work permit which allowed you to establish
your own business and now be eligible for residence.
New Zealand Working Holiday Visa
This visa gives young people aged between 18 and 30 the opportunity to travel to
New Zealand and work during their stay.
