National Insurance Number
Everyone in the UK needs a National Insurance Number (NINO) to work, earn and pay taxes in the UK. Your National Insurance number is used for deducting Tax and National Insurance from your salary. The taxman uses this number to keep track of your tax and National Insurance contributions, which gets credited towards the UK tax systems.
